Anchor Readiness & Reliability
Nathan Straign (Chief) is a retired Navy Chief Petty Officer (E-7) with 15 years of honorable service and a proven record of delivering multimillion-dollar aviation-hub expansions at the FedEx World Hub in Memphis.
The After leaving the Navy, Nathan served as Owner’s Representative at The Christman Company on major FedEx World Hub expansions, including an $18 M 777-gate project and a $56 M hub renovation. He drove MEP scope from design through turnover, embedding failure-mode analysis and condition-monitoring requirements to eliminate change orders and post-occupancy issues. The result: facilities that started up with zero major deficiencies and delivered $140 k–$420 k in documented annual maintenance and energy savings per project and meeting all requirements for LEED Certification..
Convinced that the same deliberate, data-driven reliability discipline the Navy uses to keep destroyers at sea can protect commercial profit just as effectively, Nathan founded Anchor Readiness & Reliability in 2025.
Today he delivers fixed-price Quick-Start™ audits and Readiness Blueprint™ programs that identify hidden profit leaks, eliminate 60–80 % of wasteful preventive maintenance, and turn failing maintenance programs into profitable, data-driven systems in under 90 days. Leadership receives defendable cost curves and hard-dollar ROI; technicians get prioritized routes and thresholds they can finally own. One engagement. No repairs. Just measurable profit protection that lasts.
